Close sun roof headliner, unscrew bolt of metal holder -1-.

Replace old stop with NEW part -2- from repair kit Part No: 4E0 898 921 and retighten the bolt.

Fit and adjust glass cover and rubber boot (see Body Exterior; Group 60 for complete installation instructions).

Initialize sun roof drive (see Body Exterior; Group 60 for complete initialization instructions).
When procedure applies to vehicles within the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, use the table.
