Connect vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051 with diagnosis wire 5051/1 to the 16-pin diagnosis connector of the vehicle
and select the parking brake via self-diagnosis with the "Address word" 53. When doing this the ignition must be off.
Test requirements:

Ignition on
^
Parking brake released
^
Coding checked and fix if necessary
^
Fault memory checked, indicated faults eliminated and fault memory erased.
Indicated on display of VAS 5051:

Select function "04 - Basic setting".
Indicated on display of VAS 5051:

Request to enter a display group in display zone -1-.

Display zone -2- shows a keyboard.

Enter "7" to select "Display group 007" via the keypad in display zone -2- and confirm entry with "Q key". (Brake opens all the way).
