29. If the tester is not able to set up a connection with the EPB control unit within one minute, remove the fuses for the EPB control unit (on right side

of luggage compartment). Press the "Next" button (>).

30. Insert the fuses again. Press the "Next" button (>).

31. Switch on the ignition. The program will continue automatically.

32. Switch off the ignition. The program will continue automatically.

33. Take out the ignition key.

34. Press the "Next" button (>).

35. Insert the key into the ignition again and switch on the ignition. The program will continue automatically.

When the tester has successfully established a connection with the EPB control unit, it will perform the first part of the software update
('Bootloader').

36. Switch off the ignition. The program will continue automatically.

37. Switch on the ignition. The program will continue automatically.

When the tester again sets up the connection with the EPB control unit, it will perform the second part of the software update ('Application').

38. Switch off the ignition. The program will continue automatically.

39. Switch on the ignition. The program will continue automatically.

40. Switch off the ignition. The program will continue automatically.
