Unlock both retaining bolts for the fan shroud and remove them by pulling upward - arrows -.

-

Swing the fan shroud toward the front at the upper edge.

-

Disconnect the coolant fan electrical connector - arrow - by reaching behind the fan shroud.

-

Remove the fan shroud.
