Camshaft Bearing: Specifications

Bearing cap to cylinder head ......................................................................................................................................................................................  5 + 90°

Note:  Use new bolts for camshaft bearing caps and camshaft adjuster.

Exhaust camshaft

Check radial clearance with Plastigage (roller rocker fingers removed)

Wear limit ........................................................................................................................................................................................................  0.1 mm
Run-out ......................................................................................................................................................................................  0.01 mm (maximum) 

Intake camshaft

Check radial clearance with Plastigage (roller rocker fingers removed)

Wear limit ........................................................................................................................................................................................................  0.1 mm
Run-out .......................................................................................................................................................................................  0.01 mm (maximum)
