On all affected vehicles, continuously pour the silicon D 176 001 A3 into the plug seal on the wiring loom as shown in the illustration below.
On vehicles up to chassis number 4E_4N015369, place a 3 mm wide butyl cord in the groove of the housing, as shown in the illustration below. Cut
through the center of butyl cord AKL 450 005 OS with a pair of scissors to split its diameter in half.
