Select "Exit" button to confirm exiting guided fault finding

The fault memory of all control units will automatically be erased

If the following message appears, press "Cancel" button

Answer questions that appear on the screen

Send your answers on line

Switch ignition to "OFF" position

Check navigation system for vehicle location by pressing "NAV" button to switch to navigation menu

Activate map display via bottom right control button located next to rotary push button:

If map appears the vehicle position is correct, the navigation system has been initialized; no further work is required

If arrow appears on an empty map, place vehicle outside for 5 to 10 minutes with the MMI switched "ON"

The update programming is completed
-
Disconnect VAS 5051/5052 and remove battery charger
-
Replace customer's CDs in CD changer
-
Properly dispose of removed navigation DVD
