Fuel tank with attachments, overview of components

1 - Securing strap

With spacer, installing location; Refer to Fig. 2

2 - 22 Nm 
3 - Fuel supply pipe

From fuel filter

To fuel rail

Press release tab on connection piece to disconnect

4 - Fuel return pipe

Mark before disconnecting

^

Press release tab on connection piece to disconnect

Clip onto fuel tank

5 - Vent pipe
6 - Ground (GND) connection

To eliminate electrostatic charge

^

Position / test procedure; Refer to Fig. 1.

Ensure that connector is fitted properly

^

After installation, use an ohmmeter to check the electrical connection of the fuel filler neck on a bare metal part on the body.

^

Specification: approximately 0 ohms

7 - Sealing cap
8 - Seal
^

Replace if damaged 9-22 Nm

10 - Electrical harness connector
^

For fuel tank lock switch

11 - Vent pipe
^

To EVAP canister in rear left wheel housing

Clip onto fuel tank
