Relay Box: Removal and Replacement

Relay Carrier in Front Right Footwell

Removing

-

With ignition switched off, disconnect battery ground (ND) wire. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Starting and
Charging/Tools and Equipment/Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

Remove glove compartment.

-

Remove lower A-pillar trim.

-

Fold back floor carpet.

-

Remove footrest.

-

Disconnect relay - 1 -.

-

Remove bolts - arrows - and detach relay carrier from bulkhead.

-

Disconnect relays/fuses from relay carrier.

-

Remove the fuse panel and relay carrier.

  ‹› Precise assignment of relay carrier in front right footwell can be seen from appropriate wiring diagram.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Install lower A-pillar trim.

Install glove compartment.

-

Connect battery. Required actions, refer to => [ To connect, connect terminal clamp of ground (GND) wire by hand to battery negative terminal
and tighten nut. ] See: Starting and Charging/Tools and Equipment/Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
