After all control units have been checked, select "34 - Level Control System" -arrow-

-

Push the "Go to" button and select "Function/Component selection"

-

Select "Suspension, Wheels, Brakes, Steering (Rep. Gr. 01; 34-65)"

-

Select "Self leveling suspension (Rep. Groups 01; 43)"

-

Select "01 - On Board Diagnostic (OBD capable systems)"

-

Select "34 - Level Control syst."

-

Select "J197-Level Ctrl. Sys. Ctrl. Mo. Readapting Ctrl. Position" -arrow-

-

Press the continue button (>)

-

Press the continue button (>) to start the readapting process

-

Make certain vehicle is on level ground and press the "Done" button

-

Press the "Done" button after DTC memory is erased

-

Select "Yes" to readapt control position then press the continue button (>)

-

On the login in screen, press the "Done" button

-

On the CAUTION screen, check vehicle to make certain that no objects interfere with vehicle for up and down movement, then press the "Done"
button

-

Follow the instructions for height measurement then press the "Done" button

NOTE:  For additional information on height measurement, press the "1Adjustment instructions" button

-

Bring up the input keys, enter the measurement for the left front and press "Q" then press the continue button (>)

-

Repeat measurement entry for the other 3 measured locations

-

Review all the measurement entries and select "Yes" if correct or "NO" if correction is needed

-

Press the "Done" button and wait for the clock (hour glass) on the screen to disappear

-

Erase the DTC memory by pressing the "Done" button

-

The control position has been properly adapted, press the "Done" button

-

Work is completed, exit guided fault finding and disconnect VAS 5051 or VAS 5052 from vehicle

-

Destroy and properly dispose of removed parts

To ensure prompt reimbursement, be sure to enter, immediately upon completion of the work, the applicable reimbursement code listed below. Claims
will only be paid for vehicles that show the LX campaign code in the OTIS View Campaign screen on the day of the repair work.
