Disconnect electrical connector from the front self-leveling sensors

Remove nut -2-

-

Remove screws -3- and remove self-leveling sensor -1-

Install new self-leveling sensor -1- (4E0 941 285 E/F) and right self-leveling sensor (4E0 941 286 E/F) reusing bolts -3- and tighten to 5 Nm (44
in. lbs.)

IMPORTANT:  Self-leveling sensors must be installed in pairs with the identical suffix parts. "E" suffix parts CANNOT be mixed with "F" suffix
parts.

NOTE:  The self-leveling sensor lever must point forward

Secure sensor linkage to control arms using new nuts (N 011 183 12) and tighten to 8 Nm (71 in. lbs.)

Reconnect electrical connectors to the front self leveling sensors

-

Proceed to Section B.

Section B - Rear Self-Leveling Sensors Replacement

Disconnect electrical connectors from the rear self-leveling sensors
