Removing

Remove airbag spiral spring/return spring with slip ring. Refer to => [ Airbag Spiral Spring/Return Spring With Slip Ring ] See: Airbag Spiral
Spring/Return Spring With Slip Ring

Remove steering angle sensor (G85) - item 1 - - arrow -.

Installing

Install in reverse order.

After replacing steering angle sensor, it must be calibrated via "Guided Functions" with the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system
(VAS 5051B).
