Track Control Arm

Track Control Arm

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Assembly device (3291)

‹› Torque wrench (40-200 Nm) (VAG 1332)

‹› Due to the inaccessibility of the inner bolt - 1 -, the track control arm can only be removed when the subframe has been removed.

‹› Measure the vehicle after repair. Refer to => [ Vehicle Alignment Overview ] See: Alignment/Service and Repair/Procedures/Vehicle Alignment

Overview.

Removing

-

Remove the subframe. Refer to => [ Subframe ] See: Cross-Member/Rear Cross-Member/Service and Repair/Rear Suspension/Subframe.

Mark the position of the eccentric bolt - 2 - to the wheel bearing housing using a felt tip pen.

Separate connections - 1 and 2 -.

Installing

-

Insert the track control arm - 2 - in the subframe with a new bolt - 3 - and nut.
