4 - Mount for Window Regulator Motor

‹› Threaded pins of mount must engage audibly in assembly carrier, refer to => [ Window Regulator Motor ]. See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood

and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Service and Repair/Front Door/Removal and Installation/Window Regulator Motor

5 - Steel Rivet

‹› Install rivet using special pop rivet pliers (V.A.G 1753A).

6 - Window Regulator

‹› Removal:

‹› Drill out rivets at top and bottom and knock rivet shafts out.

‹› Press together lugs of threaded pins at mount for window regulator motor from vehicle interior and slide mount through from inside toward

outside.

‹› Remove window regulator from assembly carrier.

‹› Installing:

‹› Place window regulator onto assembly carrier as shown.

‹› Note routing of cables.

‹› Press threaded pins of mount for window regulator motor into assembly carrier.

‹› Threaded pins must engage audibly in assembly carrier.

‹› Rivet window regulator motor using special pop rivet pliers (V.A.G 1753 A).
