Lock pin

Adjusting

Adjust castle nut - 15 - so that lock pin moves easily.

Use screwdriver to adjust approximate depth of lock pin.

-

Check hood cable adjustment.

-

Close hood carefully.

Hood height must match fender height. If not, adjust lock pin as needed

Open hood, adjust lock pin and tighten castle nut - 14 -.

Clamp gas-filled strut in vice in area - x -.
Dimension - x - = 50 mm (2 in.)

CAUTION:  The gas-filled strut must be clamped only in designated area - x -, otherwise there is the danger of an accident.
