Remove front seat.

For vehicles with coded radio unit/radio navigation system (RNS) note coding; ask if necessary.

Disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap with ignition off.

Remove sill plate.

-

Open lock bracket - 2 - and disconnect connector - 1 -.

-

Remove screws - 3 -.

Tightening torque: 5 Nm (44 in.lb.)

CAUTION:  The ten-cable must be at a length of dimension - A - = 50 mm parallel to seat belt outlet - 7 -.
