Tires: Service and Repair
With Forged Alloy Wheel

Component Notes And Information 

NOTE:  During service procedures, refer to the illustration above and the information below.

Tire
-

For safety reasons, do not replace individually; change both on the same axle

-

Tires with greater tread depth should always be installed on front wheels

-

Install only tires of same make, type and tread pattern on all wheels

-

Tire size, refer to Specifications.

Valve
-

Always replace when replacing wheel or tire

Forged alloy wheel
-

7J x 16

-

42 mm offset

Wheel bolt/locking wheel bolt
-

Tighten to: 120 Nm (89 ft lb) 

-

Anti-theft wheel bolt refer to Fig. 1, below.

-

M14 x 1.5 x 27.5 mm

Lock cylinder
-

Install on locking wheel bolt, then cover

Cover
-

Place on lock cylinder

Cap

8

Adhesive-backed balancing weights
-

Maximum 60 grams (2.1 oz.) approved for each wheel 

-

Installing:

Clean wheel (remove oil and grease)
Remove protective backing
Stick balancing weights onto cleaned surfaces at required positions
