Front Final Drive Gasket, Replacing

Removing

Remove left-front and right-front exhaust pipes.

^

Remove distributor gear.

^

Remove bolts (arrows) for intermediate flange for front final drive.

CAUTION! 

^

Remove the intermediate flange for the front-wheel drive from the transmission housing slowly and carefully. Otherwise, the front-wheel drive
gears could fall out of file transmission.

^

Gears which have fallen to the floor cannot be installed. The transmission must be replaced.

Lift up intermediate flange for front final drive

Notes: 

^

Do not remove the spur pinions for the front final drive. Secure the spur pinions so they will not fall out.

^

If the spur pinions for the front final drive have been removed, the gear identification must face outward (away from the transmission) when
they are installed.

^

Installation position of spur pinions and instructions go to Distributor -Gear, servicing.

Installing 

The intermediate flange is installed in reverse order of removal. In addition, the following work steps have to be carried out.
