Remove airbag control module.
Installing
^
Route interlock cable without kinks.
^
Place interlock cable in groove of damping mat on transmission tunnel and install to Airbag Control Module.
^
Tightening torque: 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.)
^
Switch ignition on.
^
Insert interlock cable in ignition switch.
^
Check locking clip -1-.
^
Tighten screw -2- for wire bracket -3-
^
Tightening torque: 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.)
^
Switch ignition off.
^
Shift selector lever to "P" position.
^
Attach interlock cable eye -6- on pin-5-.
^
Loosely screw on interlock cable bracket with bolt-7 to shift mechanism.
^
Adjust interlock cable.
The rest of the installation follows the reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Install antitheft code for radio.
^
Close power windows to stop using window switch.
^
Operate all power window switches for at least 1 second in the closing position to activate the automatic window up and down movement.
^
Adjust time clock.
