Wiring Harness: Service and Repair

Wiring harness in transmission, removing and installing

Removing

Remove valve body.

^

Use small screwdriver to pry out holding tabs on solenoid valve connectors and disconnect connectors.

^

Disconnect wiring harness on side holding tabs of valve body.

^

Loosen connector for sensor for transmission RPM -G182- (-A-) on back of valve body.

^

Pull both holding clamps (arrows) out carefully with pliers.

Installing 

The wiring harness is installed in reverse order of removal. In addition, the following work steps have to be carried out.

Connect wiring harness connectors to appropriate solenoids.

Note:

-

The holding tabs must engage.

Connect connector for sensor for transmission RPM -G182- (-A-) on back of valve body.

^

Fasten wiring harness with holding clamps (arrows).

Notes:

^

Replace damaged holding clamps.

^

The wiring harness must be routed according to the illustration. If there are deviations) the wiring harness can get pinched when the valve body
is installed and the wiring harness could get damaged.
