Position tools 3293 and 3349 such that claws engage between flange of bonded rubber bushings and wheel bearing housing.

Pull one of the bonded rubber bushings with nut, washer and threaded spindle from 3290.

Note:  The tool arrangement is shown here without wheel bearing housing. The actual work procedure is shown in the next figure.

Insert 3349/1 thrust piece and insert spindle from 3290.

Attach 3349 special tool to bonded rubber bushing -1-.

^

Pull bonded rubber bushing out by turning nut on threaded spindle.

Install new bushing in Wheel bearing housing using thrust pieces 3292/3 and threaded spindle from 3292.

Note:  Install bushings carefully to avoid tilting.
