Press awl through adhesive sealing material from inside in lower window corner, until eye of awl is visible outside of vehicle.

Thread beginning of cutting wire through eye and pull into vehicle interior.

Thread cutting wire through winding device and clamp securely.

Lay cutting wire all around rear window as shown in illustration (dotted line).

Press cutting wire - 1 - under rear window - 2 - all the way around.

Adhesive sealing material

Lay end of cutting wire around stop buffer (arrow) and tighten together with bolt for rear lid hinge.

Insert VAG1474/10 protective foil between molded headliner and rear window.
