Quarter Window Glass: Service and Repair

Side Window, Removing And Installing

WARNING:  Always wear protective goggles and leather gloves when removing a damaged window.

Trim molding
-

To remove, remove rear roof trim molding.

-

Forcefully push trim molding down (arrow) and disengage from locking mechanism.

Side window
Removing:
-

Remove rear lid.

Remove trim molding - 1 -.

-

Unclip C-pillar trim at top.

-

Remove door seal - 2 - from C-pillar in window area.

-

Press cover - 5 - to side.

-

Drill off rivet heads - 6 - lying underneath and knock out rivet shafts.

-

Remove nuts - 4 - at window flange in area of D-pillar.

-

Press side window out of window cut-out at bottom first and then top to remove.
