Molded Headliner, Installing

Install and position molded headliner

-

Tilt front seatbacks to rear.

-

Place shift lever in furthest most position.

-

Remove rear headrest.

-

Install molded headliner diagonal through opened passenger door in vehicle interior.

-

Remove protective film for adhesive from molded headliner.

-

Position molded headliner with aid of sunvisor mounting - 1 - (sunvisor trim bolted slightly) in longitudinal direction.

-

For vehicles with sliding/tilting sunroof, position molded headliner in cutout - 2 -.

NOTE:

-

Pull molded headliner in the center - A -  and - B -  at area of adhesive surface, so that molded headliner is not bonded to roof in the wrong
position.

-

Support molded headliner at the rear with a second installer, to prevent bending.

-

Guide electrical wiring for interior light through opening.

-

Press in guide clips - 3 - before molded headliner contacts roof at adhesive area (hatched area).

NOTE:  When rolling, apply only enough pressure with roller so bonding with roof can occur, thereby not causing any pressure tracks to the
