Scuff Plate: Service and Repair
Door Sill Molding, Removing and Installing
Door Sill Molding, Removing And Installing

Inner door sill molding removed
-
Lower B-pillar trim removed
Removing
-
Remove inner door seal in area of door sill molding.
-
Heat door sill molding using hot air blower before removing and pull off sill.
Installing
-
Cut back residual adhesive material at sill, but do not cut it all off.
NOTES:
-
Some leftover material is required as a base for better adhesion of the new adhesive sealing material.
-
Areas with residual adhesive bead must not be treated with cleaning solution and primer.
