Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

Exhaust manifold, removing and installing

Removing 
-

Remove engine.

For left exhaust manifold only
-

Remove guide tube for oil dipstick (arrow).

Both exhaust manifolds
-

Remove exhaust manifold -arrows-.

Installing 

Notes: 
-

Replace self-locking nuts.

-

Replace gaskets.

-

Install new sealing ring on guide tube for dipstick.

-

Install in reverse sequence of removal but note the following:
