Air Door Actuator / Motor: Service and Repair
Temp. Regulator Flap Motor -V68-/Right Footwell Flap Motor V109

Temperature regulator flap motor -V68- and right footwell flap motor -V109-, removing and installing

NOTE:  Mark connector for the motor when removing (danger of swapping with connectors of the other actuator motors).

Remove glove box and side trim of center console

Remove footwell air outlet.

Remove 2 screws -A- (servo motor -V68-) or 2 screws -B- (servo motor -V109-).

Remove motor.

-

Before installing the servo motor -V109-, check mounting of the flap (knob -D- must be located between the stops -E-).

When installing the servo motor -V68-, check that the relay lever -C- is correctly located.

Tighten securing screws -A- and -B- only by hand, tightening torque 4 Ncm (0.35 in. lb).

If the shaft of the flap motor is located in such an unfavorable position that it is not possible to install motor See Notes regarding installation.

After installing, always check DTC memory
