Illumination of display field and operating buttons occurs via A/C control head with part number beginning with index letter "M" through
light emitting diodes (LEDs not replaceable).
During malfunction test of temperature sensor -G56- intake screen of trim should not be closed.

For A/C control head with part numbers beginning with Index "M"

Removing

-

Remove instrument cluster air outlet, center

-

Remove trim -A- for center instrument cluster.

Remove radio or radio navigation system.

Notes:

Different versions of trim -A- and A/C control head for vehicles with radio and with radio navigation system (or radio with greater service
area).
Different versions of A/C control head for vehicles with or without heated seats.

Unscrew 4 bolts -A-.
