To remove first:

Remove suspension strut, Refer to Suspension Strut, Service and Repair.

Remove mounting bracket, Refer to Control Arm, Service and Repair.

Notes:  The components have to be replaced if steel links are being replaced with aluminum links:

Coolant expansion tank
