Front Steering Knuckle: Service and Repair

Removing
^
Pry off hub cap or remove using extraction tool 3208.
^
Remove collar bolt -arrow-.
WARNING! To reduce the risk of accident, vehicle must be standing on the ground when removing and tightening collar bolt.
^
Remove wheel.
^
Secure brake disc with a lug bolt.
^
Pull wiring -1- for brake-pad wear indicator out of retainer.
^
Pull out ABS wheel-speed sensor -3and wiring -2-.
^
Remove brake caliper -4-.
Notes:
^
Suspend brake caliper from bodywork with a piece of wire.
^
Do not suspend the brake caliper from the brake hose.
^
Remove brake disc.
