Spacer washer

Installation position refer to Fig. 5 below.

Circlip

Always replace

Installation position refer to Fig. 5 below.

During assembly, install in ring groove of axle shaft (not visible with joint installed)

Outer CV-joint 
-

Replace as complete part only

REMOVAL from axle shaft refer to Fig. 2 below.

Installation: drive joint onto axle shaft with plastic hammer until circlip is engaged 

Procedures

Clamp drive axle in vise with jaw covers.

Remove clamps.

Push back joint boot. 

-

Thread M 16 end of spindle 3207 into CV joint and turn spindle until CV joint is pressed off axle.

The joint boot is frequently pressed in when being installed on the joint body. This causes a vacuum in the boot which pulls it inward with a
fold (arrow) while in operation. Therefore, after installation, the boot must be ventilated briefly on the small diameter to provide pressure
equalization.
