Remove the bolts - 4 - and - 5 -. 

-

Release the retaining tabs - 3 - in the -  direction of arrow A -.

-

Release the retaining clip - 1 - and remove the exterior rearview mirror housing - 2 - from the cover - B arrows  -.

-

Press the mirror adjusting unit down and pull the exterior rearview mirror housing - 1 - upward slightly.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 - for the lane change assist warning lamp on the front side of the mirror adjusting unit mount - 3 -.

-

Pull the exterior mirror housing upward and disconnect the electrical connector - 3 - for the LED - 2 - in the mirror.
