TV Tuner (Analog/Hybrid), RSE through MY 05

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Fiber optic plier repair set (VAS 6223)

‹› Protective cap for cable connector (VAS 6223/9)

Vehicles with RSE

‹› On vehicles with RSE, a retrofitted TV Tuner (R78) (analog) is used. This is identified by an additional data plate.

‹› When replacing, replace in conjunction with "Quattro GmbH".

All vehicles

‹› If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine. Use the Vehicle

Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051) to do so.

Switch off all electrical consumers.

-

Remove the key.

Removing

-

Remove the luggage compartment trim panel on the left side.

-

Install the parking aid control module (J446). .

-

Disconnect all connectors from the control modules.

-

Attach the (VAS 6223/9) - 1 - onto the MOST bus connectors - 2 -.

Vehicles with a Digital Radio (R147) and a Digital TV Tuner (R171)

Loosen the nuts - arrows - (6 Nm) and remove the fuse panel - 1 -.
