Unclip the wood trim - 1 - from the door trim from front to back by prying it out using the trim removal wedge (3409).

Position the trim removal wedge (3409) between the door trim - 3 - and the trim molding - 2 - as shown in the illustration.

Trim Molding Retaining Lug, Removing

Lay the wood trim - 4 - on a soft surface.

CAUTION!
Do not scratch or damage the visible side of the wood trim.

Cut off the retaining lug - 2 - on the back side of the trim molding directly above the ring clips - 3 -.
