Trunk / Liftgate Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair
Rear Lid Lock and Lock Cylinder
Assembly overview
1 - Trunk lid lock
‹› Removing:
‹› Lid trim removed.
‹› Electrical harness connector disconnected.
‹› Release cable - 8 - disengaged.
‹› Remove nuts - 3 - and pull out lid lock.
‹› Installation:
‹› Engage lock cylinder release cable into lock.
‹› Insert lock and tighten nuts - 3 - to 8 Nm.
‹› Establish electrical connection.
2 - Electrical harness connector
‹› Pull off when removing lid lock.
