1. Adjust the height of the new bump stop. Using your hand, turn the bump stop counterclockwise until it rests on the trunk loading sill when the trunk lid
is closed. Check through imprint.

Tip: It may be easier to adjust the height of the bump stop if the spring-loaded pin is depressed and rubber cover is removed, but it is not necessary.
Always reinstall the rubber cover when checking the height adjustment against the trunk sill.

2. Repeat for remaining side.

3. Test the functionality of the rear trunk lid. Ensure it is within all normal operating specifications.
