Push the wheel bearing housing down by hand and install the bolt - 4 - in the air spring damper/trailing arm.

Only tighten the nut - 3 - by hand.

Install the wheel and tighten.

Place vehicle on its wheels. Refer to => [ Positioning Vehicle on the Hoist and on its Wheels ] See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Service
and Repair/Procedures/Positioning Vehicle on the Hoist and on its Wheels.

Tighten the bolt - 4 - with the vehicle at the "standard level" and resting on the floor. Refer to - item 6 - in => [ Stabilizer Bar, Track Control Arm,
Tie Rod, Coupling Rod, Connecting Link, Trailing Arm and Level Control System Sensor Assembly Overview ] See: Steering and
Suspension/Suspension/Stabilizer Bar/Service and Repair/Rear Suspension/Stabilizer Bar, Track Control Arm, Tie Rod, Coupling Rod,
Connecting Link, Trailing Arm and Level Control System Sensor Assembl. Counter hold the nut - 3 - when doing this.

Only when you have loosed the drive axle bolt:

Always use a new drive axle bolt!

Tighten the drive axle bolt. Refer to => [ Installing ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Axle Shaft
Assembly/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Suspension/Drive Axle.

Perform a vehicle alignment. Refer to => [ Wheel Alignment ] See: Maintenance/Alignment/Service and Repair/Procedures/Wheel Alignment.

Tighten the subframe bolts - 1 through 4 - to the specification with the additional turn. Refer to - items 8 or 30 - in => [ Subframe Assembly
Overview ] See: Subframe/Rear Subframe/Service and Repair.

Readapt the control position. Refer to => [ Control Position, Programming ] See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Suspension Control (
