Trailer Hitch Balancing Element Function

‹› Self-adjusting elements, used for height compensation between longitudinal member and crossmember, are located on ends of the long sides of

crossmember.

‹› Screwing in hex bolt - 1 - automatically compensates the distance between longitudinal member - 3 - and spacer bushing - 4 - of crossmember - 7 -.

1 - Bolt

‹› 60 Nm

CAUTION!
Under no circumstances are hex bolts to be driven through carrier bushings by hammer blows. Bolts must be screwed completely through
carrier bushings - 5 - of spacer bushing - 4 -.

‹› Screw in completely, do not drive in by hammer blows.

‹› Screws out of crossmember while screwing in hex bolt.
