Pry screwdriver - 3 - in direction of - arrow A  - and press catch - 2 - in direction of arrow -  B -, pull headrest guide - 1 - out while doing this. 

Headrest Guides, Comfort Seat

Removing

-

Remove the headrests => [ Power Headrest ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Memory Front Seats.

-

Pull out headrest guides - 2 - (Qty. 2) upward.

Installing

-

Install headrest guides - 2 - (Qty. 2) in reverse order of removal.

-

Ensure that lugs - 3 - (Qty. 4) engage.

Seat Heating Element, Sport Seat

‹› Seat heating element - 1 - of center section is riveted to cover. If heating element is malfunctioning, cover must be replaced.

Remove seat => [ Seat ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Memory Front Seats.

Mount the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136) on the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095).

-

Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136).

-

Remove the backrest => [ Front Backrest ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Memory Front Seats.

-

Remove cover and padding from seat pan => [ Front Seat Cushion and Upholstery, Power Memory Seats ] See: . 

-

Replace cover with seat heating element.
