Brake Pedal Mounting Bracket

Removing

-

Remove trim on driver's side.

-

Brake booster, removing and installing => [ Brake Booster ] See: Power Brake Assist/Vacuum Brake Booster/Service and Repair/Brake Booster. 

-

Remove brake light switch => [ Brake Lamp Switch ] See: Lighting and Horns/Brake Light Switch/Service and Repair.

-

Disconnect brake pedal from brake booster => [ Brake Pedal, Separating from Brake Booster ] See: Brake Pedal, Separating from Brake Booster. 

-

Remove connections - 1 -.

-

Mounting bracket - 2 -

-

Bulkhead item - 3 -

Remove gas pedal

-

Remove hex socket head bolts .

Remove brake pedal mounting bracket

-

Remove bolt, Torx socket (T45)  - item 4.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, with special attention to the following:

Joining brake pedal to brake booster

-

Hold ball head of push rod in front of mounting and push brake pedal in direction of brake booster, so the ball head locates audibly.=> [ Clip
brake pedal together with

brake booster ] See: Brake Pedal, Separating from Brake Booster

Adjust brake light switch/brake pedal switch => [ Brake Lamp Switch ] See: Lighting and Horns/Brake Light Switch/Service and Repair.

Bleed brake system => [ Brake System Bleeding ] See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair/Brake System, Bleeding.
