Brake Caliper: Removal and Replacement

Brake Caliper, Servicing

‹› When servicing, completely install repair kit.

‹› Apply thin coat of assembly paste to brake cylinders, pistons and seals.

1 - Self-locking bolt

‹› Torque specification, 35 Nm

‹› Always replace

‹› When loosening and tightening, counter-hold at guide pin

2 - Brake caliper housing with actuator

‹› Brake caliper is not designed to be disconnected from actuator

3 - Bleeder screw

4 - Dust cap

‹› Push onto bleed valve
