Tighten bolts - 1 and 2 -.

-

Insert chain tensioner in right cylinder head and position camshaft timing chain according to mark applied during removal, as shown in illustration.

-

Tighten bolts - 1 and 2 -.

Further installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

-

Position camshaft timing chains on camshafts => [ Installing ] See: Camshaft Timing Chains.

Install lower timing chain cover. Refer to => [ Lower Timing Chain Cover ] See: Timing Cover/Service and Repair/Lower Timing Chain Cover.

Install crankshaft seal, transmission side. Refer to => [ Transmission-Side Crankshaft Sealing Ring, Replacing ] See: Seals and Gaskets/Crankshaft
Main Bearing Seal/Service and Repair.

Install oil filter housing. Refer to => [ Oil Filter Housing ] See: Engine Lubrication/Oil Cooler/Service and Repair/Oil Filter Housing.

Install intake manifold.

Install left and right timing chain covers => [ ] See: Timing Cover/Service and Repair/Left and Right Timing Chain Covers.

Install cylinder head cover. Refer to: Left => [ Left Cylinder Head Cover ] See: Cylinder Head Assembly/Valve Cover/Service and Repair/Left
Cylinder Head Cover, right => [ Right Cylinder Head Cover ] See: Cylinder Head Assembly/Valve Cover/Service and Repair/Right Cylinder Head
Cover.

Install drive plate. Refer to => [ Drive Plate ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Flex Plate/Service and Repair/Drive Plate.

Install automatic transmission.

Add engine oil and check oil level. Refer to => [ Oil Level, Checking ] See: Engine Lubrication/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and
