Removing
NOTE: All cable ties opened or cut during engine removal must be reinstalled at the same locations during installation.

With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) cable.

Remove rubber seal - 1 - on plenum chamber covers.

Remove plenum chamber covers - 2 - and - 3 -.
-
Remove the windshield wiper arms.

Remove bolts - arrows - for cowl panel grille - 1 - on left and right and carefully detach cowl panel grille from fastener at windshield.

Remove screws - arrows -.
-
Detach both retainers and engine control unit from plenum chamber electronics box.
-
Lay aside engine control unit with attached connectors.
