Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hand-Held Multimeter (V.A.G 1526D)

‹› Connector Test Set (V.A.G 1594C)

Procedure

-

Remove the luggage compartment floor mat.

-

Unbolt cover for right locking flange - arrows -. 

-

Disconnect electrical harness connector - 1 - at right locking flange.

‹› Ignore - 2 -.

-

Connect multimeter between terminal - 2 - and -  4 - of connector - B - for resistance measurement.
