Front Toe Constant S, Adjusting

Loosen the nut - A -.

-

Remove the bolt - B - approximately 4 mm.

-

Push the tie rod joint downwards onto the stop.

Specified values for wheel alignment. Refer to => [ Wheel Alignment Specifications ] See: Specifications.

Install the bolt - B - until the specified value is reached exactly.

Tighten the nut - A -. Refer to - item 9 - in => [ Power Steering Gear Assembly Overview ] See: Steering/Steering Gear/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Steering Gear Assembly Overview, and check the value.

Tighten the bolt - B -. Refer to - item 7 - in => [ Power Steering Gear Assembly Overview ] See: Steering/Steering Gear/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Steering Gear Assembly Overview.

Raise the vehicle slightly with the axle lift, the wheels must not loose contact with turn tables.

-

Remove the securing pins from the cylinders and install the threaded spindles in the cylinder.

-

Lower the vehicle onto the (VAG 1925/1) with the axle lift.

-

Vehicle is in starting position.
