Wheel Bearing Housing Bushing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Subframe support assembly device (3290)

‹› Assembly device (3292)

‹› Press piece (3292/3)

‹› Puller for wheel hub (3349)

‹› 2 arm puller (Kukko 20/10)

‹› The bonded rubber bushing in the wheel bearing housing consists of two sections. There are two steps for removing and installing.

Removing

Pressing Out the First Bushing

-

Flange the sheet metal corners on the bonded rubber bushing slightly.

Position the (3349) so the claws engage between the bushing flange and the wheel bearing housing.

Tighten the threaded spindle on the (3349) as far as the stop. This raises the bushing slightly from the wheel bearing housing.

Insert the (Kukko 20/10) - A - with the (Kukko V/170), and the (3290) with washer and nut.
