Air Spring Damper

Air Spring Damper

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque wrench (VAG 1410)

‹› CV joint boot clamp tool (VAG 1682)

Air Spring Damper

‹› Replace the entire air spring damper if the level control system sensor (N338) or level control system sensor (N339) are damaged.

Clamp

‹› Always replace.

Boot

‹› Must not have any pressure points. Correct them if necessary. Refer to => [ Air Spring Damper Boot, Correcting Pressure Points ] See: Air

Spring Damper Boot, Correcting Pressure Points.

‹› Installed position:

‹› Slide up onto the air spring damper as far as the end of the ribs.

‹› The bottom must engage in the retaining ring - item 4 -.
