Remove the seal.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

Always replace the O-ring behind the flange.

Coat the O-ring with gear oil before installing

-

Coat the outer circumference and sealing lips on the seal with gear oil.

Fill the space between the sealing and dust lips halfway with sealing grease (G 052 128 A1).

Install the new seal all the way in without tilting it.
