Rear Final Drive

Gasket

‹› Replace

‹› Pull off protective foil

‹› Clean flange shaft and glue on gasket

Driveshaft

Balance Disc

‹› Not installed on all vehicles

‹› May be installed between socket head bolt - 5 - and lock plate - 6 - at rear final drive.

‹› If installed, balance disc must not be installed when driveshaft has been detached from rear final drive.

Hex Socket Head Bolt

‹› Always replace

‹› 55 Nm

‹› Self-locking

‹› The threaded holes for the bolts in the flange shafts must always be cleaned. (for example with a thread tap)

‹› For loosening and tightening, use counterholder (T10172) and adapters (T10172/5)
