‹› The dust ring will get damaged when being removed and must be replaced.

Pry out the seal.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

Coat the outer circumference of the seal with gear oil.

Fill the space between the sealing and dust lips halfway with sealing grease (G 052 128 A1).

Install the new seal all the way in without tilting it.
